Whitakers is one of the longest established firms of Chartered Accountants in Cornwall.
We began helping clients in 1935 from offices in Newquay and we are still located in this town.
For over 85 years we've given an ethical, personal and professional service at a reasonable cost – as we continue to do today.
As a long-standing Cornish business, we have worked with a broad range of clients, ensuring our place as an experienced general practice. We have two Principals whose depth of knowledge is extensive and immense.
S G Hawkey FCA joined Whitakers in 1993. Stephen trained and qualified with our firm, so has gained a greater understanding of the industries intrinsic to Cornwall and the whole of the South West, such as farming, tourism and leisure.
Our most recent principal is L P Sole FCA who joined Whitakers in 1997. Paul also trained and qualified with our firm which has brought him invaluable knowledge of issues which affect businesses in the South West.
